Prepare your setup
Open Residential proxies in the dashboard, enter your preferences and save the draft.
| Setting | Current behavior |
|---|---|
| Country | Optional two-letter country code, such as US or GB. A preference does not reserve inventory. |
| Protocol | HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 setup preference. |
| Session | Rotating or Sticky. The activated product will define lifetime and rotation behavior. |
Connection details
| Detail | What to use |
|---|---|
| Host and port | Values supplied with an activated proxy product. |
| Authentication | The product’s proxy credentials, not your dashboard password. |
| Targeting syntax | The documented syntax for that product. Country and session suffixes are provider-specific. |
| Limits | The product’s confirmed concurrency, traffic, session and allocation limits. |
These values are not issued by Crawlhub yet. Use Connection settings to understand each field and Make a first request for an existing proxy.
Choose a session strategy
Rotation is suited to independent requests; a sticky session is useful for related requests that need a consistent exit IP. Neither guarantees an IP will remain available indefinitely.
See Sessions and locations for connection reuse and location caveats.
